NCCER Partners with Procore Technologies for Workforce Development
ALACHUA, Fla. — The National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) is pleased to announce its partnership with Procore Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: PCOR), a leading global provider of construction management software.
With a mission of connecting everyone in construction on a global platform, Procore helps firms increase efficiency and accountability by streamlining and mobilizing project communications and documentation. As the construction industry continues to face a massive labor shortage, Procore and NCCER see an opportunity to educate, train and attract students and individuals to the industry.
Through this partnership, Procore will work with NCCER to develop new technology-focused curriculum and educational resources, with the goal of strengthening the connection between technology and the trades.
“We are proud to partner with a leading construction software company like Procore,” said NCCER President and CEO Boyd Worsham. “Their experience and expertise with innovative technology will be a valuable asset as we continue to push construction education into a new age.”

Through the generosity and support of industry sponsors, the CareerStarter service will be free of charge to individuals, schools, training programs and employers.

“Procore cares about workforce development because we are built solely for the construction industry.” said Sasha Reed, Director of Industry Advancement at Procore. “We see the challenges facing our customers due to the labor shortage.
