Your Role In The Green Environment provides introduces learners to the green environment, construction practices and building rating systems.

Geared to entry-level craft professionals, this title also includes green building laboratory exercises in carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC to help leaners apply newly learned skills.

Instructor Requirements

In addition to our standard instructor requirements, instructors of this craft must achieve at least one of the following:

  • Pass an instructor’s exam covering the material in the Your Role in the Green Environment module, or

  • Possess an NCCER Sustainable Construction Supervisor Knowledge Verified Credential, or

  • Possess active Green Associate or LEED Accredited Professional status (not Green Advantage)
